about

About your miniature:
“Chahargah” is a Mugam which comes from the Azerbaijan’s folk
music tradition. ‘Chahar’ means ‘ four’ and ‘ gah’ means ‘ space’. It is
based on a strict sound-scale.
In this piece one can hear characteristics and images of the Mugam,
which play with sound colours and technical possibilities of bass
clarinet.
